Rubber Testing Labs

Polyhedron Laboratories employs the latest in technology and science to serve our clients. We are apremier rubber testing laboratory. We employ a comprehensive array of analytical methods and wet chemistry techniques to present accurate and intensive rubber testing results. Our physical tests of tensile, compression, performance, and fatigue are in compliance with ASTM standards. Polyhedron Laboratories protects client interests as we provide the most accurate and advanced rubber testing available.

Thermoplastic Elastomers

  • Polyolefin
  • Copolyester-ether
  • Polyester
  • Styrene-Butadiene block copolymers
  • Sytrene-Ethylene block copolymers
  • Polyester polyurethane
  • Polyether polyurethane

Most elastomers except for the thermoplastic elastomers are chemically crosslinked or vulcanized in order to get good elastic properties. All elastomers must have their glass transition temperatures or hardening points below room temperature in order to be elastic. Elastomers must also be compounded in a very different way then plastics. The ASTM test methods used for rubber are very different from those of plastics which are rigid or crystalline materials.

Polyhedron Laboratories has the expertise, experience and equipment to perform ASTM analytical and testing methods for rubber and elastomers. Contact Polyhedron Laboratories to learn more about the testing services we offer. Or give us a call at 281-879-8600.
